About the Horicon Historical Society
Horicon Historical Society Mission Statement
The mission of the Horicon Historical Society is to bring together people interested in the Town of Horicon’s History. The history of our community is basic to our way of life, gives us a better insight into our state and nation, and promotes an understanding of our American Heritage.
The Horicon Historical Society gathers, preserves, displays and makes available documents, books, manuscripts, photographs and other artifacts relating to the history of the Town. It promotes and encourages original historical research and provides education for the general public on the Town of Horicon in the Adirondacks.
